Swim #61 / Run #93

Swam 1000m this morning.  It is nice to be back in the pool but I still am not enjoying it as much as I had earlier in the year.  I think I am just getting bored of the same things over and over.  I am a creature of variation so this crossfit thing is going to be good.

Went this morning with the intention of swimming 2000m but my bladder took over and only let me go 1250m.  How do you triathletes deal with the urge to pee in the pool?

Swam 1000m on Wednesday and ran 3 miles.  Life is getting good :-)

Dominated the pool on Friday last week with a 1750m swim before the aquarobics kicked me out :-(

Swim #57 / Run #85

Got a swim and run in yesterday before spending the day in Philadelphia with the boyfriend and then meeting up with friends for an amazing dinner. (Where we had to also confirm plans for places to stay for the half and full this fall - score)

I did a 1000m swim - why is the pool so much more crowded at 7 than 8??? But I got a lane and had a pretty good swim.  I ordered a bouy and it came in the mail yesterday so I am hoping to use it on Friday for a LONG swim workout.

Week 2, Day 1 Philadelphia Marathon Training: 3 Miles 5 Miles

  • In order to make up for not doing the long run last week I added a couple miles to my runs this week.  This run was alright.  I hate when I am running against the clock, concerned about getting home in time to get things done before I have to leave.  If I would just GET UP EARLY which I have been saying for literally months, this would not be a problem and I would get a whole lot more done.

Back in the pool for 1500m this morning - it was awesome!

Swam 1250m this morning after have an awful day yesterday :-(  After my ride I felt so sick and all through work I felt so sick.  I think it was dehydration.  Anyway, I wasn’t sure if a workout was going to happen this week but it did!! 

On a different note, I had my initial weigh in for the Do Life challenge.  I decided I needed a push a little :-)  I’ll post the weigh in’s here as well for save keeping.  I’ll be weighing in Mondays it looks like…

Had a great 1500m swim and then an eh 3 mile run with the boyfriend yesterday.  Time to start running more!!!

Swam a wonderful 1500m today followed by delicious shake and now waffles with the new waffle maker!!!
