Time To Tri
June by numbers:
June started with a BANG and sort of fizzled out in general - BUT that was because I had my first tri at the beginning of the month and start marathon training in July.
Running By Numbers:
- Ran 9 times [11 last month]
- 28.2 miles [34.7 last month]
July Running Goals:
- Pick up the pace
- Start MARATHON training!
Now onto the BIKE!
Bike was awesome. Since moving, I am right at the entrance of a trail that goes into Philly so I have a safe place to ride forever. The tri did make me realize that I need to be going faster but I’m having trouble with that right now.
Biking By Numbers:
- Biked 5 times [9 last month]
- 93 miles outside [114.3 last month]
- 0 miles inside [54 last month]
June Biking Goals:
- Longer distances
- Increase speed like WHOA
- Build lower body muscle
And finally - the SWIM!
Swimming in my tri was the most nerve recking thing I did this month. I was so scared but did AMAZING! I can’t wait for my next race to be out there again with all the racers, wetsuit, just swimming.

- Swam 7 times [12 last month]
- 9,600m [16,500m last month]

- Just keep swimming…
- Swim longer distances

- Set up Roth IRA - may be lost cause right now :-(
